Fresh Interior Look and Feel

Gerber Juice invited OA to compete with other practices for the design and fit-out of their new 1700sqm Group and Corporate Headquarters in Express Park, Bridgwater. The building, Mallard Court, had recently been designed and constructed by the practice. The concept that won through was to provide homes for working districts off a central street. The brief was to provide a modern and contemporary working environment with an understated quality and economy to it. This resonated directly with the business model of the Company who provided high quality produce at the right price to its customers. The architectural response was simple. The group activity, meeting and conference rooms were located around the central atrium space. This allowed the main conference room to offer an ever changing window wall as an interactive product display to visitors approaching from the building’s atrium. Services areas were located adjacent to the central core area allowing all other staff and break-out areas to enjoy perimeter walls, natural daylighting and views into and through the building as well as out over the parkland setting.
