Clara Houghton

Clara joined the team after completing her Part 1 Architecture degree at Oxford Brookes University. Throughout her studies, she developed a strong interest in how architecture is able to reflect the social environment, a theme explored in her dissertation, which received first-class recognition. She is especially drawn to residential design and the role architecture plays in creating a sense of home, comfort, and community. 

Since joining Oxford Architects, Clara has been involved in projects within the mental health sector, and is particularly interested in how thoughtful, user-focused design can support wellbeing in sensitive and complex spaces.
