Sustainable Low Energy Homes

We have just secured planning for the re-development of a vacant car park in Newfoundland Road, Bristol, into 10 sustainable low energy homes which re-instate the historic urban massing of the site. The construction method will focus on sustainable methodology and use products such as straw bales within the external walls ensuring all the dwellings have low embodied energy and are thermally efficient. Photovoltaics on the mono-pitch roofs will make the most of the site’s orientation and contribute significantly to minimise the new development's energy consumption and reduce CO² emissions.
