Cathedral Park Gains Planning Permission

We have successfully secured planning permission for the construction of 12 new light industrial trade counter style units on a 0.95 hectare site within the larger Cathedral Park development on the edge of Wells, Somerset.

The buildings have been designed to be flexible enough to cope with a variety of currently unknown tenants/owners as either light industrial units or trade counters and create a total of 2,400 sqm of new floor area. The proposed units can be considered as utilitarian and robust but with the thoughtful use of external materials still achieve a contemporary aesthetic that will be an attractive feature in the development.

The proposals seek to maintain the holistic design approach set out for Cathedral Park in the design code by maintaining a similar scale and landscaping but clearly express the buildings function with its own style and aesthetic in a contemporary manner that we believe will positively enhance the wider context.
