Completed just before Christmas 2011 this first phase of the new Bengeworth First School comprises eight classrooms, technology room, library, staff and support areas and the school’s main hall and kitchen.

The hall was designed to be a prominent feature externally to highlight the entrance to the school and internally to have a character that reflected the community values the school embodies.
 
Designed as a highly sustainable building the roof is a ‘green’ roof with feature passive stack ventilators. Externally the landscape incorporates an extensive SUDS drainage system.
