Eurocentral opens
Oxford Architects' new printing plant for News International at Eurocentral, Glasgow, was formally opened by Rupert Murdoch and Alex Salmon at the end of last year. The building which cost £27m houses state of the are printing presses and mail rooms and will print The Sunday Times the News of the World and the Scottish Sun.

Westbury station
The £500k refurbishment of Westbury Station for First Great Western starts this month. The project will upgraded the ticket hall, subway and platform waiting facilities. The main contractor is Peak Projects. The project is due for completion in the spring of 2008.
