Oxford Station refurbishment

100% success

Congratulations to Esther Metcalf, Lana Al-Shami and Dan Boucher from the Oxford office.  All three passed their RIBA Part 3 examinations with flying colours.

Oxford Station upgrade

Building work started this month on the refurbishment of Oxford Station.
The project will provide major improvements to customer facilities including waiting rooms, toilets, ticketing, help desks and the creation of additional retail spaces. The works will be phased to allow the station to continue operating.  The works are being carried out for First Great Western with Integral Interiors as main contractor. Completion is expected in March 2008.

Portland Square, Bristol

Planning and Listed Building applications have been lodged for the conversion of  Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings  In the heart of St Paul’s in Bristol.  Dating from the 1790’s the building will be converted to accommodate a mixed use project for the Pierian Centre Community Interest Company.

The project will provide conference and training centre facilities with meeting rooms, café, exhibition & gallery spaces alongside a new health centre and residential development.  Although the building had fallen into disrepair much of the original fabric will be carefully conserved whilst retaining many of the industrial features added during the period when the building was used to manufacture shoes and corrugated paper.
